On 26th May 2009 Liverpool played host to the first transatlantic passenger liner to call at the city for more than 40 years. The MS Rotterdam, a 60,000 tonne ocean going liner brought over 1,600 passengers to the city.
She is Holland America Line's flag ship and arrived from Belfast via New York.
